Your mission

To continue shaping how this mission is perceived globally, we are looking for a senior communications professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. As our Communication & PR Manager, you will be the voice behind our brand from crafting stories to managing media relationships, and ensuring Wingcopter's messaging is consistent, compelling, and impactful across all channels.

Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, editorial planning, and ad hoc community management

Your tasks

• Build and maintain strong relationships with national and international journalists and media outlets.

• Draft press releases, corporate announcements, and reactive statements for media inquiries.

• Coordinate interviews, TV shoots, press visits, and stakeholder engagements.

• Develop key messages and support Senior Leadership team with positioning, thought leadership, and speaking materials.

• Write high-quality content across formats such as press materials, presentations, social media, and web copy.

• Plan and coordinate Wingcopter's presence at international trade fairs and industry events.

• Manage the company's social media channels, with a focus on LinkedIn and Instagram.

• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, editorial planning, and ad hoc community management.

• Drive internal communications and employer branding to ensure consistent messaging company-wide.

• Serve as the key communications interface across Sales, C-level, People & Culture, and other departments.

Your profile

• Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related fields.

• 10+ years of proven senior-level experience in PR, corporate communications, or journalism.

• Strong track record of working with media and journalists - pitching, placing, and developing stories.

• Experience managing media distribution lists and recurring formats such as newsletters.

• Excellent writing and communication skills across all formats, from press releases to social media.

• Ability to translate complex technological topics into clear, audience-appropriate language.

• Confident working with C-level stakeholders, with a sharp instinct for messaging and positioning.

• Structured, self-reliant working style with a hands-on mentality and strong prioritization skills.

• Proficiency in the thoughtful use of AI tools for research, ideation, and content creation.

• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) at a professional level - both are a must.
